An unusual thing happened to my car and I am passing it on so it does not happen to others.
When lowering or raising the roof the trim panel behind the seats is raised and two hydro rams are visible with a couple of sensors and some wiring on each of them.
I "think" the sensors are hall sensors - not sure BUT they rotate around the ram tube and if you move them so the sensor bodys are facing towards the back of the car (not the side) then they press into the leather trim panel around the back of the cabin causing two really deep impressions you wont get out with a heat gun.
Its easy to move them on my car but once in the side position they would not move unless physically moved in cleaning or working on the roof.
