Hi marc, the vanquish is only fitted with a manual gearbox, it is the gear selection that is controlled hydraulically via the asm, there is an optional upgrade, where this system is removed and a gear stick fitted in it's place, hope this helps

There is a proper manual stick shift one for sale that has been converted by the factory, would this be a good thing ? would it make it quicker ?

I do not know if it would be any quicker, but the clutch may last longer smile Plus the car would have some interesting history too.

I'm afraid I don't know of any for sale.

All I know is that the conversion cost about £15k. I'm not sure if it was an after market company or Aston Martin themselves who converted it, but I'd be interested to know how many were converted.

one for sale at the moment 2003 6 k miles, silver with red but only a 2+0 and converted by the factory. Its low miles only draw back is I would have liked a 2+2 and its at `s` money.
