Hi Guys

I am looking at getting a 4.7 Vantage V8 Coupe either new or nearly new (up to 3mths old). Had a good look around today and a test drive and I am very tempted to trade in my 997C2S PDK for one while I wait for my new gen2 GT3 slot to come up (12mths away). I was looking at VantageV8 around Xmas (before I got into the PDK car - which I now dislike!) and was aware then that there were some very very good deals on offer but things seem to have slipped back a little more towards normal from what Ive seen today.

What is the best UK dealer price now for a nice spec V8 coupe (manual) - say list at around £94-£95k?

From what I can see unreg cars seems to be available for about £80-82k and nearly new for £76-78k. These figures dont seem quite as good as back in Jan/Feb when they seemed probably another £5k lower. Are they realistic best figures for now or should I be looking a lot harder for that deal?

Hi thanks... I read that post a bit earlier but the only figures quoted seem to be that Mayfair were offering an unreg car for £73 in June. No mention of spec and Mayfair now have two sept-08 4.7 on their website for £78-£80k so they seem to have lept up very quickly! The only car they have that is June09 for £72k is a 4.3 roadster - Im not interested in a 4.3...

Anybody know of any 09reg 4.7 coupe's cars going for less than the figures in my first post?

Hi Adam, give Martyn Hollywood from Aston Cambridge a phone, he is a decent guy & will certainly let you know the current best scenario without b.s!
You are going down the exact same route that I followed when waiting for a gen1 997GT3, I'm now back in a 4.7 Roadster after the GT3, as a long term Porker owner I think you will enjoy the V8 its a great ownership package.
You are right that prices have firmed up as supply & demand have settled to a sensible levels & the 4.3 oversupply has been sold off! But the upside is although you will pay a bit more you should get more back come re-sale. By the way do test drive a Roadster you will be surprised by how good the dynamics are for a drop top!
