Just curious as when I had my TVR's the car club was a hmmm, sensitive subject on PH. I attended a local meet last week and apart from the fact my car was the new kid on the block, everyone I spoke to was friendly. I confess I knew little or nothing of the models represented as my interest is in the later cars, but I had a pleasant eve. I can't recall seeing the club mentioned here so just asking for opinions/experiences.

Some of the AMOC moderators come over here too...
Every AMOC do I have been to has been friendly. There used to be some light-hearted banter about the newer cars not being "proper Astons" from the owners of the older cars but even that seemed to die out a few years back.
It is usually worth going along to a concours - more shiny Astons of all types than you'll see in a month of Sundays. Usually very chatty owners too. The Autumn one is fast approaching (5th/6th September) and is at Yeovilton.
If you want to know waht you are looking at then Tim Cottingham's site is a very good guide: www.astonmartins.com

Nice to see so many Astons mixing with the TVRs. Outnumbered, maybe, but not outclassed
