Looking for high performance brake pads for Vanquish?
Discussion
mmm...ok in my experience, but I much prefer Pagid RS42s thanks ...they dont have bull*t advertising "no compromise" (there is no such thing) and "the absolute best pads" yeah right...how do you measure that...what is the criteria, where are the scientific tests
maybe try advertising on the Max Power forums, you may get more takers, I suspect most Vanquish owners just buy OE pads, you know the ones with the wires......

Not for me cheers. Have had the misfortune of owning a car that had aftermarket fast road pads fitted when I bought it. They were immense on the motorway but totally useless (dangerous) around town. Just not worth the trade off. Thousands of pounds thrown at development and testing - me thinks not. Howver, a factory upgrade choice is another matter.

Also tried non genuine pads, found the fit to be poor, some had to be filed down so that they would not be to tight in the caliper, Also very poor until warmed up, These were supplied for us to try, needless to say for nomal driving it is not something i would recommend or fit, The genuine pads in my opinion are substantially better, only down side is they are twice as much, when you need the car to stop, you want is to stop.
ok. another set's fitted to my viper at the moment for my recent trackday event and i'll swop them out soon for the stock pads. i guess Vanquishs don't appear on the track so much... this was as much a tester thread to see if PH would leave it up, as a shout to anyone that might track their vanquish and want more track orientated pads.
