I'm on my third Aston and am anticipating that my fourth will be a Rapide now that we have a family. However, I am really not sure what to think about it being built in Austria. I'd be far more convinced to go for one if it was a Gaydon built car. There seems to be something just slightly iniquitous about Aston shedding a whole lot of jobs in England then building a new car overseas...

I tend to agree. But I do wonder how it can possibly be cheaper or better to build them there than here. I guess the top brass think it must be, but why?
Government subsidies? Better workers?
btw Angel - I wasn't aware the G-class was meant to be a paragon of quality? Or was that the US built ones?
