Just had fitted today larini back box- Car now sounds the business. IMO I prefer the aftermarket exhaust it sounds better on start up and over run and is half the weight of the std exhaust 14 kilo's lighter smokin will post sound clip in the next week or so

Cant wait to see a video with some good drive bys!! Does it make the car sound too italian or does it keep the tenor roar common to AM v12s ?

I guess a mixture- At lower speeds it sound a bit lounder and bit more roar. However to be honest with you its just like someone has taken the pillow away from the exhaust - Motorway speeds no change- Windows down always laugh Also adds additional 15HP and creates less back pressure than the standard

Had cats on my AMV8 and it was just far too loud for normal everyday use.

Motorway/Freeway driving is fine- it just comes to life when you drop a gearbiggrin

I've thought of doing this on mine -- does it add to the volume compared to the stock without Fuse 22? Does it change the pitch higher up the revs? How much was it inc install? I'm trying to swap standard seats for the carbon versions - is this what you're planning too? WS says it cant be done retrofit...

I found a few youtube clips. I think I actually prefer the quicksilver on the DB9 to the larini... I love that growl!

Looking forward to posting my sound clip, it sounds lounder then the DB9 larini. However proof will be in the pudding when I post. I think pull away and drive pasts will be more of the real world then revving the engine IMO

Around £2000 inc fitting-fuse 22 does not matter as this is incorporated on the std rear box, which is now gone!you do get reduced back pressure-hence more power- Think I will stay with the std seats for now, but would like to see pictures if you have yours done

Should have a clip of the RSC system with Sports Cats within a few days - will post up here when it's done.

Notice that all these guys just start it up and floor it? Is that wise?

ya I agree....but still gives you an idea of the sound of each system. I prefer to hear drive bys rather than just revving.

Is that an additional 15hp out the box without any remapping?

with the 15kg weight saving and better sound its tempting
