I have just purchased an 55 plate DB9 and find that the car is fitted with the integral phone option........does this mean if I want to use it I have to tke my SIM card out every time and pop it in the car SIM card holder.....what a pain in the bum that would be !!

What are my options....many thanks

Yup, that's the long and short of it unless you look at a Bluetooth aftermarket kit. I've got the same in my Vantage....and after a couple of weeks of ignoring the phone and concentrating on the thrill of driving the car I've never looked back. Turn the phone off, enjoy the car and have some quality "you" time...!

If you only want to receive calls, put in a PAYGO sim in it, and divert calls from the main phone while driving.

Set it to divert if the phone is off - and switch main off when getting in the car.

Still not as easy and simple as getting a Bluetooth kit.

I had a duplicate SIM from my service provider ...as long as only one is switched on at the same time works great ..or as above - just a get a PAYG and divert when in the car

Mine appears to have both built-in (it has the slot) and bluetooth. Ideally, I'd have the bluetooth with the screen and button integration features of the built-in phone. As it is, I just use bluetooth.

Switch to Orange and get Single Number. I use it and it works great.
