MW Reception in DB9

I have the uprated sound system on my 9 (Limbik 5.something ?)but the reception from the radio on MW wave is very poor. Phoned dealers and they said they're all like this!
Is this true ?
(I know I should listen to the exhaust note but I haven't had time to drive it on my own yet and son wants to listen to talk sport instead)

I haven't listened to MW in a car since I was a kid! Doesn't it always sound terrible?

The MW in the DB9 will always be poor. That's why the V8 had a roof ariel (Vanquish S had it as an opyion)...which looked poor so they switch to windscreen elements instead (no more heated front screen though). I believe packaging the ariel was a bit of the issue. It's in the boot lid in case you were wondering. They were working on a fix but kind of on the side, at the weekends, in someones shed kind of thing. It's better in the later cars as they've all switched to windscreen ariels.
