Had the V8VR for 30 hours now and have done 400 miles and have severe sunburn!
Absolutely love it
Its not the fastest car I've ever owned, its not the best handling car I've ever owned. It is the prettiest, most grin inducing, addictive and best sounding car I've ever owned!
Took me a while to get used to the weight of it in the corners after 2 elises and a Noble GTO 3R. But now I've figured out how to heel and toe on the downshifts and figured out that I am traveling considerably quicker than I think I'm traveling most of the time, I have really started to fall in love with it.
What a fantastic weekend to collect her too!
I spent yesterday on the long cruise back from Manchester to Cambridge and today I've done 200 miles all over Cambs and Norfolk with my buddies in a week old GTR and 2 exiges
Those of you who have owned V8V's for a while are very lucky chaps and chappesses indeed and I'm very delighted to have joined your club. Defiantly never felt cooler
I'm going to have a few questions over then next week or two.

Hope the GTR didn't see which way you went glad you are enjoying your Aston & welcome to the Roadster club, now loose that wind stop please, otherwise Murph will start talking scissor brands
Thought it was a bullet proof screen. I mean, Aston owners can't possibly need one to prevent the old hair piece flying off Errr, fuse 22 came out after 23 minutes of V8V ownership and it isn't going back in very soon I may get a switch fitted though as I am sure there will be times when I want to get somewhere briskly in stealth mode!
I did only pop the wind stop back in for that hour long blast around the Cambridgshire countryside as we were well over warp speed most of the time. It is very clam in the cabin with the windows up at high speed, quite surprising tbh.

I drove mine through the centre of London on Saturday and someone commented at just about every set of traffic lights. The brits do love this car and I have had nothing but friendly admiration. Having the top down just allows you hear all of the positive news (including the sound of a fantastic engine.
Whilst performance is not in the Noble league it is still a great car to drive and the best looking car on the road. The big question will be what will you do when the new noble hits the streets.
