DBS arrived

Car arrived yesterday.I spend the last 24 hours driving as much as I could. Its just fantastic, IMO I much prefer the manual gear change and feel much more involved then the I did with the auto- great car- out searching for some nice B roads tomorrow Its a very special car.

Well done that man! A great choice. I've had my manual DBS for 6 months now which is a new record for me and I love it as much as day one... it grows on you too - you'll find the harder suspension setting is actually pretty good for almost all roads - transforms the car. Get fuse 22 out ASAP - that's important. I only wished it had the carbon/kevlar seats which cannot be retrofitted, other than that quibble it is a very special piece of kit

What's the issue with the seats. Those are DBS seats, they look terrific, I imagine they are very comfortable and supportive - what other seats do you want Polar?

No, the standard seats are very good... I'm just lusting after the carbon backed sports seats that are not (as far as Im aware) a current option on the DBS, but appear on the DBS test cars and are also appearing on the V12 Vantage reviews. They were also in the James Bond cars. Works Service say they are not retrofit, but given what they've done in the past I'm convinced I can change their minds.... (see any pic of the new V12 Vantage to see them in action)
