V12 Vantage interior spec

Hey, has anybody seen any definative photo's or final specs on the V12 Vantaqe interior? I've got 70 days to confirm my spec and read that Aston were planning a stand alone V12 dash / console finish with Piano veneer or metal alloy (std v8 spec) being options along with V12 specific paint. The dealer cant confirm this and I havent actually seen the car in the flesh yet so relying totally on web pics etc and a brief right up in the lastest AM magazine which is pretty frustrating. I'm aiming towards a carbon and alcantara interior and Mako blue paint as I really liked the look of the concept RS. Sorry for the ramble fellas, just a bit frustrating when they give a deadline to decide your final spec but dont bother to let you know what your options are. Any feedback appreciated

Not yet, dealers sent me a single page brochure on the car and an options list which reads the same as the v8 from what i can tell excluding the carbon seats. Might be worth a shot calling Gaydon.

Why do you let yourself being pushed by the dealer. If he cannot provide you with the detailed spec I would simply let him sweat. I think those times are over where there are waitinglists for cars etc etc. I am interested in V12 Vantage but don't know whether I fit properly so I simply refuse to pre-order before I get to sit in one.

I'd be polite but forceful with the dealer. There are 20+ AM dealers in the UK (I assume you are in the UK). If one of them is unhelpful then get the slot number for build and take it to another dealer. There's a recession on and if these people want £140,000 then they can do a damn better job of showing that they want your business.....

As previously commented the days of waiting lists are gone for now....

There is a complete V12 Vantage pdf spec document - which I was told was meant for dealer circulation only. Ask your dealer for a printed hard copy.
In this it shows the full range of options available - leather, carbon, alcantara etc.
Pity I didn't see this earlier as I could have scanned the relevant pages. (it's a pretty comprehensive document) and forwarded them to you.

Thanks for the feedback chaps. I have a copy of the dealer only V12 pdf doc, which is quite informative and does state that V12 Vantage specific exterior and interior colours trims etc are in development which is what has led me to ask if anybody knew anymore about these final specs. With regard to availabilty I'm told by my dealer (well thought of on this forum) that they have 4 cars this year which is 50% of their total V12 allocation with the remaining 4 cars coming for 2010 / 2011. These numbers include their demo. I've spoken with my dealer with regard to my concerns over lack of details on colour / interior options for the car and they've said they will be arranging a factory visit to see the V12 production line etc and discuss final spec in details with AM. So we will see what transpires in the next few weeks
