Can anyone give me some guidance around any headlight adjustments / packs for a V8 Vantage prior to driving on the continent ?

Apologies if this has been done before, just didn't find anything on a search.

TIA

hi headlamp conversion to continental spec is not difficult but as the lamps use hid units great care must be taken, access to a ramp is preferred disconnect the battery, remove both front wheels to gain access to square panel at the back of the headlamps, remove access panel, remove rubber covers from back of lamps, remove the dipped beam bulb and power pack, do not touch the bulb glass, locate the conversion switch and alter to opposite position you should hear it click into place, rebuild reconnect battery, reprogram radio windows etc, and enjoy your holiday

Or just don't bother like most continental drivers coming over here smile

Seriously though, I've never bothered (did 2k miles around Portugal and Spain recently). I usually find I'm in a bar/restaurant before the lights need to come on.

And on the one occasion I wasn't I never ad any issues with dazzling people (AFAIK).

Pop the lights out, = half a turn on box spanner (provided), flick the switch and pop lights in again, this takes about 10 mins max on a Porsche. I find it helps pass the time in the Euro Tunnel!
Astons, don't you just love them and hate them rolleyes

Yes, but when you arrive you're still only in a Porsche wink

The steering wheel in a gentleman's motor vehicle is on the right hand side.

Uncouth Johnny Foreigners are made to have theirs on the ladies' side of the car so we can see them coming.
