that price is not just for a service there must have been extra work, average service cost depends on who you intend to use, dealer or specialist normal prices for this service range between £650 from an independent to approximately double from a dealer,
Rick,Mine will need a service around July/Aug time and I intend bringing it up to you. I'll contact you beforehand to make an appointment.

work service everytime, astons require full aston history either through a dealer or works service, the older ones such as db4/5 no indys would be much more preferable but db9,vantages,vanquish etc just need the stamps in the book or the dealers dont want to know at trade intime.I speak from personal experience,no dealer wanted one of my cars a couple of years ago because an indy had been servicing it,just my opinion of course.
kind regards simon

Reference F430hunter, I am sorry to here you had problems, there will always be people who only want to see a dealer stamp in the book, and there will always be people who prefer a specialist, I regularly pass on details of customers who wish to sell or part exchange there Aston's to dealers and these customers have always told me how they have been dealt with, which has always been positive even with a specialist stamp or stamps in the book, it may have been the dealer you used, Or perhaps as resale prices have changed so much recently this may have a bearing on this, Some dealers are struggling to find used stock,
