How much should extended warranty for a DB9 cost ?

Stratstone contacted me today to say that my warranty will soon expire and they want to know if I want to expend it for 12 or 24 months.They asked for £1616.00 for 12 months warranty.Is this a reasonable sum?

Why not call a couple of those warranty companies to see what they would quote? (Assuming you can get a comparable cover of course).

Jag want this for their warranties but if you go to a specialist you can get one for about £500.00. Should be similar for Aston

Be careful, I've looked into the same issue on BMW M cars. There tends to be a massive shortfall in cover and problems getting pay outs when comparing the seemingly high priced manufacturer's warranty against cheaper third party products.

£1300 + vat for the Strats used car warranty, they do a better one at £3k (a year) but I`d have to flog the missus`s favours to get that one

I`ll be getting the Aston cheap one at £1500 ish inc VAT

Having dealt with various 3rd party warranty companies in the past I would NEVER do so again, stick to the manufacturer ones or just keep the cash in the bank.
