I am thinking of buying a DB7 Zagato but would like to know of any problems the cars suffer from before I do. Also, are there any cars For Sale that anyone knows about? I think that
the base model is the 12 cylinder GT built in 2003, maybe a year out.
thanks.

Hi as it is a rare car not many people will have seen one or worked on them, as the engine and majority of the drivetrain and suspension are from the DB7 Vantage, so the problems you get with them will be basically the same, as in coil packs etc, servicing costs and repairs are the same, the only thing that springs to mind is the radio reception, which has it has no external aerial am,mw are quite poor and prone to background noise, The handling imo is better than the DB7 and I put this down to the shorter wheelbase and obviously the uprated engine, If you would like more info just let me know,

Do it, in my opinion one of the best looking cars ever made. Very rare and a proper aston martin.

Do it.

I like them in the olive green with green leather, it looks superb. Have a look at astonmartins.com for more information on the car.
Let us know if you go for one.

That is an excellent colour - it will be interesting to see where the car at Bonhams on Saturday goes to on price, not that long ago the Zags faired very badly at auction and now they seems they have firmed up.

I am going to the auction so will be either overjoyed or suicidal depending on the price it makes. Anyway, there is a Meotorite silver car in Switzerland for sale at £208k. I have a bargain and am too excited to sleep until it is in my garage and then I may have to sleep in it.

Congratulations Bungie, and welcome to the club, I'm sure you'll love every mile! I've just returned from a 2000 mile jaunt in mine through Europe (including a visit to the Zagato factory!), which has confirmed that the DBZ is a truly great driver's car.
