Have managed somehow to get rather a nasty paint chip (down to primer) on the front offside wing already (less than 3 months frown)

Assume the best place to get some touch up paint is from the main dealer (hoping they will post out to me)........anyone know the cost ?

get a kit from paints4u. Give them the paint code and order the stone chip kit. you'll get a pot of paint, lacquer 2500 grit paper and g3 rubbing compound.

Basically fill the chip with small amount of paint, then blob lacquer on top after leaving it for a day. You then flat the blob down then polish off the haze. If you want it to look perfect, get some 3000 grit paper and finer compound like menzerna final finish.

www.paints4u.com and get the scratch master kit

The dealer gave me a small pot of paint and lacquer when I mentioned that I had got my first small chip. Inside the pot is a small bush (part of the lid) - pefect for touching those marks that you know are there but perhaps others wouldn't notice from casual glances. All supplied FOC and a smile on their face. The N400 black was, I think, a unique colour to that model so grateful for their help. A call from you to your dealer might get the same response.
