Bluetooth microphone sensitivity.. callers can't hear me?
Discussion
Dealer upgraded my mic last year and ended up making a huge difference in sound quality.
I took a black marker to the casing, so it now blends into the black headliner.

Known problem in earlier cars. Mostly due to a crap microphone setup although a limited number do have the mic wired backward from the factory.
The usual "dealer" fix for the former is a new mic stuck above the driver's door!
Well mine's brand new (2009), suspect it could be mic wired backwards, that'd make sense... The usual "dealer" fix for the former is a new mic stuck above the driver's door!

I've got a MY08 and have the same "quiet mic" problem when it links to my iPhone.
BTW - Does anybody else experience problems when connecting their iphone to the ipod lead and the unit being unreadable?
I use an iPhone as well. Have both the same problems, works fine with a normal iPod Nano though.BTW - Does anybody else experience problems when connecting their iphone to the ipod lead and the unit being unreadable?
