May be a common problem but i have a misfire on one side of the engine. When standing behind the car it pops and f**ts very slightly but noticeably from the offside exhaust pipe.Nearside purrs as per normal. It feels slightly hesitant when accelerating .Does this mean i have a coil problem or plug or both and if so is it on the offside bank of cylinders being connected to offside exhaust.
I have been advised by Aston to replace all plugs at £15 each and coils at £45 each.4 hours labour to do this.Son eats beans on toast for a month....
Appreciate there may be a boffin out there who could help.It just scares me to open the bonnet let alone rip things apart..
It has been faultless for the past 3 years and has only done 19K miles.
Thanks in anticipation.

yes it is a common problem, from experience i always replace all the coils now learnt the hard way, as you have to remove the inlets to gain access to the coils and plugs, looks like the prices qouted would be plus vat, you will also need two inlet manifold gaskets, two egr gaskets and two iscv gaskets, i do not know what your skill level is and i do not wish to put you off doing it yourself but it is not the easiest of jobs, if you need more info as to what has to be removed etc let me know.
