Aston Martin's take on the M6. Ie Lets take a utlity vehicle, Stylize it to the Nth degree and removal all practicality. rolleyes
I think they would have been better off using the Lagonda name to create a genuinely luxurious car to rival a Rolls-Royce or Maybach.

That's horrendous. Are you sure it's not a Chrysler badge on the front?

Why use the Lagonda name for that awful pile of tat. Car manufacturers seem to have very little respect for their heritage.

I was sent the internal Aston PR email about this today. I think the distinction they are trying to draw is along the lines of "Aston Martin is about the drive, Lagonda is about the destination". So the Lagonda brand is supposed to be a luxurious place to travel as opposed to the fun place to travel that AM is.

On the plus side, it's good confidence from AM to be doing this sort of thing at the moment. Not my cup of tea really but, as various other marques have shown, there is a market for this type of car. I'd rather see more about the Rapide...

Exactly.

Let's see a couple of the previously mooted additions to the family come to something before touting monstrosities like this about.

What are they thinking of? Disgusting, I thought when I heard about them bringing back Lagonda, it would be like a Phantom or a Maybach. I really hope they don't make it.

if the owners of Aston want to cash in and see something for their money, why on earth can they not just sell the Lagonada brand to any old car firm that can afford it, and let Aston get on with building cars that people aspire to own ....all this is a good way to fill some production lines with German SUV clones and develaue both badges, not just the Lagonda one frown
