Hiya...I'm looking to hire an AMV8 for a long weekend (so I can persuade myself to buy my own!!)...can anyone suggest an outfit where I can hire one and that doesn't cost the earth? I'm based in West London...

Many thanks!

shame you dont live near me (notts) as I cant drive still (accident last year) and mine just sits there looking sorry for itself frown

Id quite happily rent it out for a reasonable rate - your own insurance should not be more than £50 for the weekend

Speak to adrian at the Aston experience, tell him Rick from derby motor services said he would do you a good deal, this is his number 0845 9000 007 or contact him through his website http://www.astonexperience.co.uk/,

Another vote for Adrian. Good guy, car delivered to you and can be talked in to some very tempting offers (often better than on the website).

That site looks very tempting (some offers are great). I'm in the same boat - I love the look and sound but other than sitting in one, I've never driven or ridden in an AMV8. I doubt I can test drive one until I'm serious about buying (probably next year unless I start earning more earlier) so it's quite frustrating!

I might email him :P

I am looking at doing the same. This is the cheapest place I could find:
http://www.supercarexperiences.com/vroom/experienc...

They also have good prices on last minute deals, £500 for a weekend I believe.

thanks for the mails guys, in fact ive had quite a few re Vantage hire !

on a brighter note ...(well kinda), my problem of a car sat there unused is solved as the girlfriend has decided to sell one of her cars and take over the running costs of the Vantage whilst im recuperating ...and still take me out in it of course smile

There's is an 06 plate. I've just booked a hire through Avis Prestige. Have used them before. Price not quite as keen but you get a later reg car if that makes a difference to you.
