V8V's, or lack of.......

As some of you maybe aware, I have been looking to get a used V8V within the next 10 - 12 weeks and have been scouring the ads to see what is on offer in terms of spec & price. Interesting to note, that in the PH classifieds 2 weeks ago there were over 100 adverts, today just 76. Are they all being sold or are people just not selling? Any views?
Combination of the two, it would appear. AM have been (very successfully) offloading their 08MY V8V stock and the dealer network have been active buyers of good used cars generally, prices have firmed a little, and there's generally less stock around. Good news for the AM marque despite such terrible market conditions.
I have noticed this to. Having taken the decision to buy one I now find a reduced availability of cars with the sort of colour combo I am after. Thing is we are at the 3 year old mark so as owners get the balloon payment bill they may well decide to sell so a steady stream of v8's will be along during the year.

...and I think that's really good news, to be honest. Minor pain for those few people wanting to buy now (and, having sold my V8 18 months ago, have been on the verge of replacing it for a few weeks now, hence keeping a close eye on things, following a few dead ends etc.), but overall I'm pleased to see the marque doing well vs. me personally having to pay a few quid more for a superb car.
And, with the hugely reduced production efforts going into the 09MY cars, hard to see an overproduction problem moving forward either.
