I've insured my 06 Vantage through Direct Line, they don't require a Tracker, but want proof the car is fitted with alarm/immobiliser.

This was obviously fitted when the car was built, but I don't have an certificate or proof that it was done. How have others got round this problem of insurers wanting proof ??

hi i have supplied details of security fitted to some of my customers Aston's seems to be a common request, Details i have supplied have purely been on letter headed paper with the reg and spec of systems fitted, so you can either ask your dealer to do you a letter alternatively let me have the reg and last 6 digits of the chassis number and your email address, and i will supply you with a letter in pdf format that you can forward or print out and post,
