Hi folks,

My alarm went on the blink last night, and was activating randomly. It sorted itelf eventually, but now the car throws an alarm service required warning and the fobs have ceased to work frown

Fortunately I can still lock up with the key. Anyone else experienced this? THis is the first time the car has been driven properly for over 3 months...

Battery in the siren according to my dealer. Don't suppose yours is around 2yrs old? smile

Replaced under warranty.

Yep. Every time i start the car it comes up. The dealer told me it's a common problem. I've been meaning to take it down to the dealer so they can put it right (rest the system or something I'm not quite sure). It's noting serious so i wouldn't worry about it. Just press the "read button" and it will disappear.

It won't disappear! Now the fobs don't work at all! It's going in asap!
