Just spent an hour drooling in JCT Leeds.
They have three 4.3 Coupes all around 90-91K
All for sale @ 70K - maybe less, they want shut of the old stock.

Do a read through recent threads on here, and give your dealer a call...

4.3's will be heaviest on the discount as whilst unregistered they are very old stock now. I know one dealer who has a small number of 4.3s with power upgrade, sport pack wheels and other goodies for sub-70k (in nice colours).

Ive seen 4.7s on here going for less than £70k - id have no issues with a 6 month/2K mile old 4.7 overa a 4.3 just for all the other minor improvements, let alone the engine smile

Been contacted with regards to £30k off unregistered MY08 roadsters.... sooo tempted.... man maths is working hard.. but the new 4.7s can't be that far behind that price at the way things are going...

Aston Martin derby just offered me sport shift, 2008 model m.silver 67k. He also claimed they dont have many left as they seem to be popular at that price......................

I wonder how much more i could push them? 62k?

Hi Guy's
Went in and saw this one and another in Black Saturday just gone. The interior colour is better than the pic, although not for me. These were offered to me for £70k two day's later now £65k, would of been gutted, fab buy now if your after a new roadster.

I've just started to seek my first AMV8 coupe ........V excited.....I need to understand what to look for, niggles etc with a MY07, I have my first test drive this Sat.....

Just spoken to the guys there about this car.. I like the red interior - seen a couple and it's not as pink as it looks in the picture... Anyway going to have alook at the car on Sat (assuming still there) Interesting to note though - it's £65k w/o their conversion (wheels, lights, engine), still £70k with it all

Well my friends AMV8, has spent nearly as much time on a breakdown truck as it has on the drive.. 7 times in 18 months... is this normal for these cars... much as i like the shape, and I'm tempted by the sale prices..I have to say this is putting me off on a reliablility front for a daily driver... confused

My 06 coupe is 3 years old 19,000miles and no major issues - infact I'm pretty anal about my cars and live really close to the dealers so if there had been any problems I'd have been camped on their forecourt... and not looking to buy another biggrin

Give Aston Newcastle, or Grange Aston (Welwyn) they're all offering unregistered cars for £62 with black interiors.

Grange Aston had a used 4.7 Coupe for £64k

Personally I'd avoid the sportshift on the 4.3

Resale, the Roadsters seem to be holding their value better than Coupes

In fact, Grange Aston also offered me one for £60k at the weekend, and sold a delivery mile 08/08 black/black for £57k a few weeks back.

I see a Roadster went through the auctions yesterday at 55k but had quite a few miles on it, an 08 plate from memory.

IIRC nobody bid on it.

£80-something I've been told

Best bet is to get an ex-demonstrator for low-mid £70s

I must admit these prices are really tempting ..... but then you think is it really a car worth £65/£70k ???

What something is worth to you is purely subjective.

However, the number of people that consider something "worth it" and their ability to put their money where there mouth is dictates the used prices.

Put it this way, a £100k that's just lost £40k isn't going to lose another £40k any time soon I don't think, but then if Aston starts breaking banking covenants and goes tits up, who knows what will happen to prices

But now used car supply has stopped, prices should firm up a bit but that's offset against a continuing downwardly spiralling economy.

It's anyones guess.

But for fear of sounding like Grant3, if you want one, and can afford it, then buy one.

For that budget, your other options are an R8 or a 997 GT3, all good solid performance cars..
