New Aston for me! :)
Discussion
To tide me by till the V12V...
The dealer twisted my arm, as my old Vantage was getting a bit long in the tooth (2006 model with 39,800km), so I've just taken delivery of a brand new 2009 4.7 Vantage, with everything, and a custom paint job (Grigio Titanio from Ferrari)
Must say, I love the new motor! It's much more Aston, good hard torquey grunt from low down and then fervent shunt all the way to the new, higher redline! Much more poke and more as it should be. Very good, very good And the sportspack with Bilstein suspension is just in another league compared to the old car, my word. It's fantastic! And all the loads of new little refinements here or there are great.

Nice one Jus, she looks simply stunning congratulations... & in the best colour as well
Its nice to have a new car to drool over rather than another post from an Aston wannabe who's trying steal one for 1p.
Hehe... yes as usual I've done the complete opposite of what our resident depreciation expert would (;)), and I've bought brand new, but I did get a reasonable trade in on the old car given the market, so that was a big part of the motivation as well. And, I'll use this as a springboard most likely to get into a V12V hopefully, and that I think may be a smarter car to be in from a depreciation point of view. In anycase, I've never bought with too much consideration for such dour and droll practicalities, it's just so not Aston or gentlemanly is it Its nice to have a new car to drool over rather than another post from an Aston wannabe who's trying steal one for 1p.

But you haven't mentioned the most important bit..
You have mentioned:
The much "gruntier" engine
Sharper handling
New improvements & refinements.......
BUT YOU MISSED THE NEW ASTON MARTIN PEN its worth the extra dosh for that alone
Oh yes, that is rather swish! Love it! But you haven't mentioned the most important bit..

Fabulous colour. Great car. Oh, and I'd put the value of the enjoyment it will give you per mile at MORE than it'll .......... by (insert 'd' word) so, actually, it'll make you a profit!
Btw SA delayed until early March/April.
So dynamic in the sunlight too, this paint, it's impossible to capture on camera. It sometimes looks light bronze, sometimes grey, sometimes almost purple. Gotta love these 3-colour paints.Btw SA delayed until early March/April.
Let me know, I'll probably be in California for the latter half of April! You best get your ass down soon while the weather is still epic!

If you want some guidance on property here, please don't hesitate to ask, as I'm pretty up to date on whats happening and where, and the market is in a downcycle so there's sure to be opportunities.
