Good Morning...I am now the proud owner of a DB9 volante!
Have been lurking around the forum for a while, but this is my first post.
I have to say first impressions are excellent and it truely is in a different league to anything else that I have owned.
I do however have a couple of question that I was wondering if you guys could help me with!??

1 . Has anyone changed the indicator bulbs at the front for silver ones that flash amber?
2. If so are they easy to access
3. Has anyone had a drivers window rattle?

Many thanks in advance and hope that I will be an active member in the future!

Cheers

SS

It's a hefty job to change the indicator bulbs. Front up in the air, wheels off, front section of the arch liner out and change. The window rattle i've never heard of top be perfectly honest with you. I know of a few rattling window regulators to be replaced, but that isn't a huge job. It a door card off release the glass and replace. What is the rattle you have heard of? Sounded a bit of a horror story???

HTH anyway,

TR

Thank you for the reply .. mmm that sounds like that will be put on ice for a while then!
I just thought that if it was an easy job I would swap them over as I feel they look better.
Have read a few things on various sites about window rattles in volantes, but will have a good look at it when I get home. I am sure that it is something simple, just that I only picked the car up Sat, struggled back through the snow, now it is filthy and I wanna get out there and drive it .
Thanks again for your help

I have a 2006 Volante and the only noise I get from the drivers window is chatter where it rubs on the top rubber, an wipe over with some silicone spray every 3 weeks or so stops it.

Ok great will give it a go! The window seems to stick a little in the cold as well, so I assume that will also solve this issue...Just gets stuck when opening and closing the door.
Dont mean to start things off with a moan, so please dont get nme the wrong way.
The car is amazing and I love it! Just a fussy bugger!
