Co-enthusiasts -
I have always been quite thrilled by the Project Kahn 20" Inch alloys for Aston Martin and am seriously considering getting some for my Vantage and the summer season.

- Who has them on their Vantage? Pictures would be great!!
- Who has an opinion on them? Positive/Negative? Obviously beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I have never seen them in real.
- 20 inch too big for the Vantage? Does is swallow the car (Meteorite Silver)?
- Comfort-loss? (normal user, no track etc.)
- too bling?
- etc.!?

Thanks for your ideas/efforts, much appreciated.

Nooooo dont do it.....if you must change the wheels, the sport pack wheels look far better, the Kahn ones make you look like a pimp...(in my opinion)

if you are a pimp or a footballer i think you could get away with chavving up your Vantage ...but personally id not bother

in fact I quite like the standard 19's, and definately dont want 20's with even lower profile rubber ...not for road use

I spend the money on something performance enhancing instead, rather than just bling wheels

there you go ..thats my opion wink

Everyone will think you're a lottery winning chav or a pro footballer. If you're either, then you should already have got the wheels.

+2 but you should definitely go for the DBS wheels and not the (M6 look-a-like) sport pack wheels!

dont do it please!! you will make the car look chavy and i think khan design alloys arent worth the money. when you buy a aston you dont change the wheels. you buy a aston because its a aston not with some aftermarket alloys!!!!!

I'm not an owner but agree they look ridiculous, especially on an Aston. All of Kahn's alloys are hideous.

and +1 for DBS wheels biggrin

At the end of the day though it's your car and your money, so do with it as you please. Just everyone else will think you look like a plank. tongue out

If you like them, buy them, you are the one who will be driving the car, this type of change to a car is a very personal choice.
What appeals to you may not necessarily appeal to the rest of the forumsmile

Must be a personal thing, I've just taken a look at the Project Kahn website and thinkt he ones on the DB9 actually look great. Agree with bogie though that 20" doesn't make for a particularly comfy drive, and the spokes appear to protrude beyond the tyre walls, which does rather make parking a Russian roulette experience.

I imagine with those rubber bands on the wheels, it may tram line just a little, and the suspension be not quite so compliant ...I mean...if you like big wheels you may as well do a proper job and fit some 21" jobbies - 20" are just so last year wink ...I think you can even get 20 profile rubber to fit them now...dont think you have to put air in them though - they are nearly solid LOL wink
