sorry to have to ask, i am sure this has been asked a thousand times before!
is the fuse22 issue actually true?
is it as simple as just removing it from fuse box, or do i need to take it to dealer?
thks for your help.

Yes, it is as simple as pulling Fuse 22 from the REAR fusebox found in the boot.

It is worth tracing a number of threads on this forum and others which will provide information and opinion relating to this cause of action, including potential fault codes logged in the car which may have the potential to impact on your warrenty.

my dealer did mine for me, before I test drove it ...and honoured the warranty since, so I wouldnt worry too much ...mind you, nothing to stop them all having a different "opinion" on things wink

I've actually put mine back in (took it out over the weekend) as my car is visiting the dealer next week. I didn't want to muddy the water with any potential warranty items that were picked up. Has having the fuse removed ever been questioned by the dealer?

not an aston owner but surely to cover yourself all you need to do is remove the fuse blow it, then re-insert. blown fuse is not your problem re warranty issues

no - the 2 dealers have I dealt with have even encouraged it ...the supplying dealer did it before the test drive for me as I had asked about it, and the servicing dealer also said its the most common thing people ask for on their first service smile
