I've been making a nuisance of myself for the last couple of weeks with questions here and there about the AM V8 Vantage....well, to your great relief I have actually bought one. Here are some pics...

Plate was in the car when I bought it although I do kinda like the silver on black. I have a set of "proper" plates in the boot I just have to fit.

I'll have to check out the DVLA site for something cheap.

It's a July 06 car with 1 owner and 16K (now 17K) miles.

CONGRATS looks very good - you should change the front plate placement to this ......

I assume there are bolts behind the plate that secure the plate holder to the front bumper?

I'll have a fiddle when I get around to fitting legal lates.

Excellent. Identical to mine, even down to the red calipers and sliver stiching. Enjoy!

(Looking at yours, I think mine needs a clean!)

You can play smart and buy a cheap plate if you don't mind duplicated numbers, such as: R77 AMV (245 pounds) Check the DVLA site.
LA, I assume Andy meant that the plates are illegal as opposed to there being anything wrong with the combination of numbers and letters ... hehe

p.s. nice car biggrin

10min job max to take off the bulky and ugly holder. 2mins max to stick a plate on with sticky foam pads wink

Makes no odds to cooling etc. Looks much better lower down.

looks lovely ...but I would say that...its identical to mine wink

lose the 5 mph impact number plate mount - its a 5 min job, fit a 3/4 size plate with legal font - you can seem ore grille then ...looks much better IMO
