Here's one I haven't read about before :

My drivers door can no longer be opened from the outside.

Central locking works perfectly, passenger door opens from both the inside and outside but the drivers door will now only open from the inside, it feels like the linkage from the outer door handle to the opening mechanism has dropped off !

It was in a few weeks ago to have the "non flush fitting" drivers door handle (a fault that we have all heard of before!)reset so maybe it's something to do with that ?

First time it happened the left side of the car was parked so close to a wall that I had to climb in through the tailgate to open my door !

It's going in next week to be fixed,(and the bloody incessant creaking and squeaking from the seat belt/speaker pod thing behind my right ear - for the FOURTH time) but seeing as how I have had every single one of the well documented faults so far I thought I would just cheer you all up with a different one that doesn't seem to have received so much attention !

Happy New Year !

I think it sounds related to your flush fitting issue...

Presumably you're using the same dealer each time? Might be worth having a chat with the head of the workshop. Or perhaps another dealer?

Sounds daft, but have you tried pushing the open button on the remote a few times in quick succession?

Had a slightly diff issue on my DB9 the other day. The car would not let me out on the driver's side. I either had to unlock the car from the centre console or opne the window and reach out. Now fixed.

Has your 'chick trap' option failed again AZ?

Those bloody mechanics. "Passenger side", I said. "Passenger side".

She got away.
