Forgive me for sounding useless, but i need to change fuse 47 (cabin lights etc) and don't want to dismantle the footwell. Any advice on best way to get to it.

I think you need to take the carpet up (I couldn't find another way) and then there are 5 or so screws to undo (think they are either Torx or allen key heads). It's not that hard to do, but if you're XXL the space can be a bit tight.

Hey thanks, I've seen them but wasn't sure. Will be ok as I'm a racing snake!

Be wary of fox st too.

Little bd had covered a prize dump in leaves next to my car. Leaning in the car I dropped my foot right in it. Stinks like nothing else.

Also...be careful with that fuse as I believe it also doubles as the seat position sensor/memory.

When you put it back in, you'll have to "reset" the seats. Cycle both to their limits in all directions (front/back, up/down, seat rake etc).

Thanks Murph, sorted it. Only took 5 mins. Just does lights and seats are on a separate fuse.
