I don't want to put anybody off but probably worth giving consideration to copies - especially via Ebay.

I bought a GruppeM titanium back box for a previous M3 CSL only to discover later that it was a copy from the East! Looked (almost) identical and was titanium - ask to see purchase receipt from an authorised re-seller.

I have read about that sort of thing before with ebay but this is a the real deal.

Are you the Ebay seller?

If so which distributor was it purchased from? If not how do you know it's the "real deal"?

I was tempted by one of these so emailed Scuderia Systems to make check they were genuine - got stung in the past with a GruppeM system.

Had a late reply today suggesting that two of the serial numbers on the items sold by this Ebay seller related back to 2006 exhaust sytems and another didn't relate to any known serial number at all!! They traced one of the Ferrari systems back to being sold to a Ferrari dealer back in 06 and this was fitted to a car at the time so couln't possibly be new and was more than likely a copy with the same number.

So they are obviously of a nubious origin!
