Afternoon all,

2 issues to ponder over.

1. Folding mirrors, when folded they sometimes "AUTO" fold out when I unlock the car. I like this feature but is it truely an actual feature. I can't seem to do it on demand!
2. Windscreen wipers, they are bonkers! Sticking intermittently, staying on even after switching off, etc. This is waiting to be checked at Aston Works but won't get done till January.

Still loving the car, if only I could keep it clean !

Oh speaking of which has anybody had Aston Works do a full bodywork polish up. Something like 2 hours per panel, around £900. Supposed to take out any scratches, swirl marks etc.

Can't comment on 1 and 2 as not had those problems but what i can say is £900 for a detail is ridiculous you can get a full detail inside and out with paint correction for around the £300 mark and that is a full day's worth of work.

Electrical issues sound odd. Mirrors should auto unfold when you stick the key in the ignition. Wipers should behave.

Detailing - talk to these guys http://www.sportscarprotection.com/ You won't be disappointed and they'll save you a wedge.

Electrics sorted. Wipers and folding mirrors were doing strange things due to water ingres at the fuse box. Aston Works only discovered the issue after giving car a clean bill of health and then washing it. The wipers went crazy!!

A bit shocked that an Aston would suffer from water ingres in the fuse box - I thought the build quality was much better than that !
