Only a thought at the moment - used to be involved with PCGB and arranged a number of regional events in my past 'life'.
There are a number of Classic & Sports car shows held at some very nice (flat!) venues throughout the year and if there is enough interest from the AM brigade I'd be willing to get the ball rolling to arrange, with the shows organisers, a modern day AM get together and display. The 'classic brigade' seem well catered for already!
Location somewhere like Tatton/Capesthorne/Gawsworth Hall - May 09 onwards.
Anyone up for it? Thoughts please?

That sounds good to me.
If you don't mind a more north-easterly venue you could also look at rolling something in with Cars in the Park, which always welcomes group attendance and has quite a mix of mostly modern cars.
