There was really only one place to come to ask the above question - its here, the home of all knowledge David Brown. Specifically I am trying to find out who actually manufactures the current seats that are in production (not racing) and additionally, if possible, the source of the leather.

Leave it with you, any help much appreciated

The seats are made by RECARO especially for AM. But just the chassis, the leather is applied in the factory.
Could read the name RECARO on a box full of seats when visiting the factory a few weeks ago.

The leather comes from a company in Bridge of Weir, near Glasgow.

Bridge of Weir make the leather for AM using a patent system of their own apparently superior to any other producer. It is laser cut to shape using hides sourced locally and avoiding any blemishes. It is then supplied by Bridge of Weir to AM in boxed sets for each specific vehicle. The trimming, as said already, is done in the factory.

There is actually a difference between DB9 / DBS and V8 Vantage.
The leather for DB9 / DBS is indeed from Bridge of Weir, but the leather for the
V8 Vantage is made by Vogl in Austria. They also supply the interiors as cut kits to Gaydon,
where it is stitched together and fitted.
