I've had a V8V for a month now and was wondering if anyone was a member of the aston martin owners club. I've had a look on the website but it doesn't really seem that there's a great deal happening or going on.

Whats everyones opinion, is it worth joining?

Yes. There's a lot of V8V members on there now, who know a lot about the cars. And being a club, they treat their cars as "keepers" rather then the next thing to own.

Had my V8V for +6 months now, wondering myself about the AMOC. I've been a member of the Porsche Club for 12+ years and enjoyed loads of events, car shows, track days, run outs, socials etc - even organised a few.
There seems little on the AMOC Forum about 'that' side of the club? Or am I missing something? I have been to one AMOC monthly Club meeting at the Whipping Stocks near Knutsford, and seemed a freindly bunch (plus cheap beer!) - all very informal meeting, with a number of other 'clubs' or mates getting together (Cobra & GT40 kit cars and Harley D bikers).
Not sure what else they do? I still go to the PCGB meets as they meet at a specific venue and put together a calander.
I went to the Classic Car show last month at the NEC and there were loads of clubs there - suprised nothing fron AMOC though?

Reading the AMOC Forum is a must. It is the best place for honesty, common sense, first hand knowledge, humour, debate, sarcasm, wit and comedy all written by XXXAngelXXX and Grant. Check it out; forget 'Dave', it is the real home of Witty Banter wink

Graham, Yes, you are 'missing something'. As a non member you have limited access to the AMOC site.
