went to look at a few db7 first one was a vantage manual but when i had my son in the back {5 years old in booster seat} i found that i could not move my leg to change gear
later looked at an earlier l6 db7 auto this seemed alright room wise
are they the same inside as i would prefer a manual so thinking an l6 man may fit the bill any one else get kids in the back {im just over 6 feet}
also how are they to run cost wise l6 and vantage
as far as thel6 goes would i be disapointed in the performance coming from porshe and tvr {got a test drive in an l6 later inthe week

Bit perplexed by this - the vantage has a bigger footwell than the i6 variant (which was quite long and slim in comparison). Don't want to sound silly but you did have the seat back and the steering wheel set high? I'm 6'3 and have to have the seat in my db7V all the way back, but even pulled forward a bit can still use my left leg!

Hope this helps.

The difference is not so much the Vantage vs I6, it's the manual vs auto.
I have a 2001 DB7 Vantage touchtronic with kids in the rear (in proper child seats). The drivers and front passengers seats needed to be all the way forward to give the kids enough leg room in the back. I'm just 6 foot tall, and I could manage to drive comfortably long distances like this, because I didn't need to use my left leg. However, it would have been impossible to use the clutch pedal in a manual car. Wouldn't have been able to bend my left leg sufficiently. You need to look at Touchtronic Vantages.
