AM DB9 independent servicer near Guildford/Dorking?

Can anyone recommend an AM independent service specialist close to Dorking or Guildford to maintain a DB9?

Give Paramount Performance a call 01753 533633 speak with Gerald or Paul. Don't have a DB9 myself but last time I was up there they were servicing a DB9 and it looked like they were doing a very good job.

Tell them Ben put you onto them.

Must say, I wasn't anticipating a trip north of the border to Sluff though.

I can't believe there ain't an AM specialist positioned in the Surrey stock broker belt or is just served by main dealers?

Yes very true I can't think of any other specialists that deal with the modern Astons just a couple that stick with classic stuff.

The drive up to Paramount isn't a bad one depending on the time of day and they still use OE Aston parts for your service so your a winner in every aspect.

Thanks for that SXO - a near ideal location!

However... I noted on their website that they have diagnostic equipment for DB7 and Vantage but no mention of DB9, so I contacted their service dept about working on DB9 and their response was interesting...

"We are Heritage dealers and as such do not work on current production cars"

I responded by asking "Is that the same for all independents?"

Their response... "Certainly for all Heritage dealers"

So it would appear that I am obliged (or constrained) to utilise a main dealer all the while DB9 remains in production.



So HWM would be my local one.

Another indepedent locally is Trinity Engineering (also in Cobham), though I doubt they have DB9 capabilities for the same reasons as given by RS Williams. Might be worth a call though.

Tim is the Guy a Trinity I did think about recomending them first but when I spoke with him a while ago he told me they have no interest in working on anything newer than DB7s. Maybe as DB9s get older they will start working on them but for now they just refer people to HWM

Autocar this week features an article on Astons and an independant in Derby that services db9's for £400 and has all the kit.

Just got mine serviced yesterday by Rick at Derby Motor Services.
He did a superb job.
Highly recommended.

Just picked up my bosses V8 Vantage from the main dealer in Amersham, Buckinghamshire after some warranty work (belt squeak).They are currently running a FREE winter check to all Current and non current Astons with a collection and delivery service (subject to location) and also they will try to match any specialist price offered for servicing, running repairs etc.etc.etc.
Just thought you guys may be interested???
