At the point where my rears are close to being replaced and I had a thought, does it require anything special to do so because of the pressure monitoring?

Can I go anywhere to get them done?

no, you can go anywhere, the tyre pressure things are just sensors in the valves, which get put back ...quite common these days so any decent tyre place should be fine

Well went to get the tyres today and notice the locking wheel not remover isn't in it's placefrown

The last time the wheels where off was when i had the break squeal fix done a couple of months back at the dealers.
Can you get replacment ones or is it a removal and new set job?

Contact your dealer.

With Mercedes there are only around a dozen different locking wheel nut designs, therefore is a simple process of matching up and ordering a replacement. Not sure about AM though.

Another option would be to contact AM assist for assistance in this matter. They deal with flat tyres etc!!!

I phoned the dealer but it was after 12pm so the service guys had all gonefrown so i've got to wait until monday
for them to call me back.
I will wait till monday and see what the dealer says. I have a feeling it's going to cost me though.

Give AM assist a call, it's FREE!!

Tell them that you need to change your tyres but can not find the wheel locking nut.

See what they suggest.

Best of luck!!

Not one normally to embarrass myself but this should make some of you laugh.

Well went into AM Cheltenham this morning as they where going to take the locking nuts off with their
master set and put new ones on. So I pull up droll over the DBS then go to the Service Manager, he then toddles off with my keys and before I know it he's back with a big smirk on his face.
He then goes on to tell me that my car doesn't have locking wheel nuts on it!! Well I left AM very embarrassed
and confused, apparently AM don't supply cars with locking nuts already on them and I never thought to look at the wheels.
Well I'll chalk this one up to experience.
