I posted this the other day when it was £42,995. It's now £39,995. Is this the first sub £40K V8?
Not the most exciting spec and high mileage, but even so.

Edit: Removed postcode data from link.

It's the first I've seen - and I look quite a bit. It's good for me as a hopeful future owner.

And it's warrantied into 2010 so no great risk.

yes, its the same one, thats been going down £2K every couple of weeks...although it looks like the owner finally caved in and sold to a trader ...maybe they had a balloon payment due they couldnt meet...market is flooded with cars bought on credit, just given back right now.

The spec, what sort of specs can you get on these cars?

ETA look at dealer finance page http://dealerservices.autotrader.co.uk/11854/finan...

spec wise, that car is pretty basic I guess, I can only spot 19" wheels and sat nav there

but to be honest, you dont need much more on them, premium stereo is nice, but its not like a German car where you need to put £10k on it just to get leather and a stereo wink

19 inch is basic? TBH I'm not a fan of huge rims anyway, 19s would be the absolute max I'd want to go to and as for stereo so long as it can play my c'ds thats all that matters!

So what are the spec options as someone looking ot buy in the new year smile

thanks, believe it or not I'd prefer 18s over 19s

yes I wasnt bothered myself either from a cosmetic POV ...im sure the ride would be a little more compliant on 18's ...although you have to ask yourself, if you are worried about a firm ride, is a Vantage the right car ...id be looking at a DB9 non sportpack ...or even a Bentley GT ...which have depreciated even more ...£30K you can find them at !! wink

why would I waste money on a DB9 when the Jag XKR supercharger is sub 40k and arguably nicer looking wink

Vantage ride isnt an issue, I prefer a 18s purely from a choice of tyres and road noise.

Woah, woah, woah...

Back up a bit here... V8 Vantage for £39,995??

What's this about warranty until 2010 as well? Isn't that a '55 plate car?
