Mercedes/ Aston venture?!?!

What do you all think about the possible collaboration of Mercedes and Aston Martin?
I for one hate the idea of a SL being the underpinnings for a new model Aston...!

Bentley seem to do ok with their German underpinnings...and Rolls-Royce

im sure Dr Bez is not silly and theres a win-win here for Aston in the new arrangement
