Not selling in the USA?
Discussion
A year ago, during a trip to Las Vegas, I visited the Aston dealer, Gaudin, on West Sahara. He had a few V8 Roadsters (unregistered) which, at the then exchange rate of $2.02 to £1, made them bargains ($136000) compared to the UK.
I popped in again yesterday and he still has a Toro Red V8 Roadster, good spec, which he's had for 426 days! Price is down to $120000, which at todays exchange rate, makes it more expensive, from our point of view, but even more of a bargain for US buyers.
He told me that he also had two unregistered 2007 DB9 Volantes unsold.
I almost felt sorry for him......
If anyone else visits Vegas in the near future, look out for Paul Jarret at the dealership, he's a nice chap.
