...cant remember if its the same one...but yeah, near £60K for an 06 car seems expensive now ...seeing as when I actually thought of selling mine a few months back, I was getting offered £40k trade !

The only reason that the price has increased is due to the fact that the car is now for sale by a trader.
This car was being advertised by its original owner for around £64k a few months ago, the price then dropped to around £59k and was further reduced to just under £54k.
It was the sold to the trade!!

Just a little odd! It didn't sell on here when it was advertised at 53k, is it likely to now sell at 59k.

Couldn't shift it even for 50k. This McGurk character said he wanted it for himself and went to the length of buying it straight from the dealer I PX'd with (for a Lambo). If he manages to sell a 14k mile 06 plate for 59k after I've advertised it for 6 weeks without success at 50-53k then he should be knighted Sir McGurk. I'll ring and congratulate him myself. Tell me how much did you traded it for and i'll offer him 2k less. Infact maybe we all should. I would have bought that car for 50k if I had the cash.

Only got 45k (only he says) to blow on a car at the moment so have a bit of a wait yet or buy an XK.

Price difference from private sale to trade is large as a lot of poeple simply wont put that amount of money in to a car from a private man. Wouldnt bother me too much, but some would, understandably, like the comfort of a trader for a % more.
