Extended Warranties db9

Anybody extended a warranty ? I am being quoted £1885 to extend for a year on my 2006 db9 convertible manual ( 9000 miles ) and I was wondering whether anybody has tried claiming under the extended Aston warranty or done research on how it compares with other warranties you can buy from others ? Or is it worth taking the risk - I only do about 4k a year ?
