Anybody else having problems with wear on the plastic pad on the driver's side protective floor mats? Aston replaced the first set at 2500 miles (under warranty). At just 4500 miles the second set has worn out - exactly same problem, plastic pad has split.

Pants.

Mine is holding up well after 17000 miles, saying that I do like to wear softish soled shoes when driving the Aston as I like to feel the pedals.

That's interesting - are they the standard Aston mats? I normally wear Timberland boots - maybe the hard heels are wearing the pads out. Annoying, though!

Mine has just has just split at 19,500 miles. I normally drive wearing trainers most of the time.

Yup the ones fitted at the factory. My small soled shoe fetish for driving harked back to elise ownership..
