Looks like a cross between a DB9 and a Mc-Merc SLR.

The number of potential customers could be fairly limited too as the car is likely to have a price tag of over £1million.
Hmm, I'll have to stick with the Vantage, methinks.

Let me know when you get one and I'll have a go hehe

It can't really be £1m, can it? They'd have to offer some serious bespokery to justify that. And I should hope it'd be <1500kg...

Indeed it is. It is all over General Gassing and should be on the Aston Website as well.

Oh yes mate. Established customers rec'd the 'teaser' today with request to register interest. It'll be in the press tomorrow. AM are just feeling the water at the mo. before deciding whether to go ahead.

Having read how far the 'bespoke' goes I can see why it'd cost a lot, but will potential customers really be demanding a 2+2, a straight 2 seater, a wagon?... What if they ask for something with a central driving position? Is the suspension going to be from anywhere other than the usual supplier? I just can't imagine someone saying "I want this" and them creating it on a whim.

Hand made aluminium...? Impressive stuff. I'd pay to see some dude with molten cryolite in their hands while another chap lobs in chunks of bauxite...

Car looks very, err, Aston.

Why not? Lots of people for whom that is chump change. Given the limited numbers, it'll probably be worth a lot in the future (DB4 Zag...).

I wish it was a bit more in my reach as I'd like something a bit more bespoke than the DB9.
