I've just bought a yr 2000 DB7 Vantage from a speciaist and noted resolution of a drift to the left as a condition of sale. Anyway, I've had an engineer look at the car and the tracking is fine, it's worn front suspension, bushes and shockers that appears to be the problem. It's not dreadful but wondered if anyone else had the same problem and noticed a marked improvement. It's a bit noisey over any bumps. Last car was a really nice 996 targa that handled tremendously well so the Aston is always going to feel a bit vaguer. Grateful for any thoughts.

Thanks

Scott.

Just had the front shocks replaced on mine.

It's improved the ride comfort, but the best improvement is the reduction in tramlining. I don't have to hang on grimly to keep her straight on some of our marvellous roads.

Hi Riley

Just back from hols and had the front shocks done while away - much better. Still have a suspicion the bushes need done but willreserve judgement. Hope ur enjoying your car.

They're no 911 but very special and I managed to get a one owner one in great condition and 36k miles. Good result but first service due in Oct - ouch! Thank ur advice sounds right.

Cheers

Scott.
