Has anyone had the iPod interface fitted to a pre-08 V8V?

I suspect, at the price, the answer will be no. But thought I'd ask.

Have decided to do a bit of a road trip in Europe in the car in September and am starting to think that getting iPod connectivity will be a bonus.

If anyone's had it fitted, any reports on it?

I've Google'd but still can't find anywhere else doing something similar.

theres a couple Ive seen done, aftermarket, along with aftermarket audio installs (subs etc) ...will try and find the links - theres at least 2 companies in the London area that have done it, as I looked into it at one point, then never got around to it.

iTrip's etc are OK, but the sound quality usually sucks.

I don't know where you are located but Aston Martin Works Service has apparently done the iPod install on a pre-08 Vantage. Apparently there is still no Aston sanctioned kit for those of us not in the UK.

I'm in the UK but too tight to pay 1,100 pounds for it when I'm convinced the parts cost peanuts.
