Prodrive Upgrade - Resale Price
Discussion
Hi Guys:
I'm just about to put my mint 06 Vantage up for sale and, in addition to all the usual extras, it has had the Prodrive remap and exhaust upgrade.
Do you think this would bump up the price at all?. There is about 17k on the clock (just had new clutch and AM works service overhaul done under warranty)but I'm not sure what a reasonable starting price would be.
Cheers

My guess is it won't increase the cars sale value. It may make it more attractive to some though although, equally, others may be put off by a 'modded' car. If I was looking I'd see it as a bonus - but not one I'd pay extra for. Good luck with the sale.I'm just about to put my mint 06 Vantage up for sale and, in addition to all the usual extras, it has had the Prodrive remap and exhaust upgrade.

Did you notice a substantial performance improvement with the Prodrive mods?
Did you do any pre/post dyno testing?
Have a good search around on here - a few of us have driven the Prodrive car during it's various stages of developement and it's been done to death under various topic headings. You should find what you want.Did you do any pre/post dyno testing?
As Pugsey said, it's worth having a hunt around for more detailed reviews of the upgrade.
For what it's worth, my 20p worth would be that the extra horses are really noticeable higher up the rev range. The exhaust button option is quite good fun too. I also fitted the P Zero Corsas which, when warm, are awesome. Just beware when cold.
However, the biggest improvement imho was when AM Works Service tweaked the gearbox to smooth out the shifts. 1st and 2nd are now silky and allow much quicker changing. Again, I think quite a lot has been written about this.
I'm gutted to be waving goodbye to the V8. Though fortunately the imminent arrival of a C63 AMG Wagon should put the smile back.
